Elizabeth Pulido Swiller is a founding partner at Tot Law, APC, a native of San Diego, and bilingual in Spanish and English. Mrs. Swiller is a pivotal asset at Tot Law, APC. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mrs. Swiller was a paralegal for a certified family law specialist for over 7 years where she learned the nuts and bolts of family law. With over 22 years of experience in family law, Mrs. Swiller is as comfortable litigating in court or seeking agreements that benefit her clients.
Mrs. Swiller was raised in National City, CA where she attended Sweetwater High School before earning her associate’s degree in paralegal studies. While working as a paralegal, Mrs. Swiller also earned her undergraduate degree as a double major in Political Science and Philosophy at the University of San Diego where she was also a member of Phi Alpha Delta, pre-law society. Before attending law school, Mrs. Swiller worked at the Center for Community Solutions, where she held domestic violence clinics throughout San Diego County. At the clinics, Mrs. Swiller would provide assistance in preparing requests for restraining orders and offer resources to help victims secure housing and financial assistance.
Mrs. Swiller currently serves as an elected Member At Large for the San Diego County Bar Association, Family Law Section and is a committee member for the San Diego County Bar, Lawyer Referral Service.
While at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, Mrs. Swiller met her husband, Paul A. Swiller, and law partner, Linda A. Jazo. She was a member of the UC Hastings Constitutional Law Review journal and her work in Animal Law was honored with a Witkin Award/American Jurisprudence Award.
After passing the California State Bar in 2004, Mrs. Swiller worked for three years as an associate attorney for a Certified Family Law Specialist, advocating for clients in and out of the courtroom. In 2007, Mrs. Swiller and Linda A. Jazo formed the law office of Jazo & Swiller, LLC, combining their strengths.
Thereafter, Jazo & Swiller joined forces with Paul A. Swiller from Tot Law, APC to offer clients a one-stop shop for all matters involving children, parents, relatives, and prospective parents.
In her free time, Mrs. Swiller enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children and two dogs.
